Election Day 2006

I have to admit, I've not paid a lot of attention to politics in this country or any other for that matter. But the last couple of years I've been paying attention to the Green Party.

I studied economics in University at Guelph and since then I have had difficulty understanding how our government sets Economic Policy. It seemed to me anyway, that our government goes totally contrary to most Economic Theory. I'm no expert, I admit, but the Green Party platform seems to follow more logically the basic Economic Theory I studied in University. Read Limits to Growth and you might understand what the Green Party is trying to convey to us all. I think if you don't at least read their platform you're going to be partially responsible for what comes about in the next Term in Office, no matter who wins the election.
